JLS believe that Jessie J has the same appeal as Lady Gaga and Madonna.
The JLS lads didn’t recieve any BRIT awards nominations this year, let alone any awards but that hasn’t stopped the boys from acknowledging that the award bosses knew what they were doing when they awarded the ‘Do It Like A Dude’ singer with the Critics’ Choice this year.
When asked what they think of the newcomer, Oritse told MTV: “I think that was a great decision because Jessie came out of nowhere and just tore up the charts.
He also added: “Our country’s never had anything like Jessie, she’s got that kind of pop iconic appeal, in the same way that Madonna had and Lady GaGa has for the rest of the world. I think that for someone like Jessie she’s just the realist artist that you can find. She’s a really nice person, she’s a really good-hearted person and I think it’s well deserved.”
